First, as a parent, American citizen of Hispanic origin and working tax payer trying to make ends meet........I ASK why our government is funding schools that have non-United States citizens enrolled? Doesn't seem quite fair that we, LEGAL resident tax payers, must cut our education budget further and may lower the quality of our childrens "education," yet funds are being fed to non U.S. citizen students. I ask that our government address that issue; justify cuts to our U.S. citizen students. Different monies, I understand....I believe our government needs to re-evaluate why and where those monies are going.
HARD PILL TO SWALLOW AT TAX TIME and with Proposition 100 on the ballot.

Second, our High School is an "Excelling" school by state standards, yet we receive 1/3 to 1/4 the funding underperforming schools receive....and, are asked to cut more from our budget. Why must we continue to cut our budget when added funds for performing/underperforming schools is not increasing performance? That includes Charter Schools as well.
