JLBC projects 2010 budget shortfall at almost $2 billion

Arizona’s budget difficulties were outlined by the Joint Legislative Budget Committee Director, Richard Stavneak, on Friday, October 22, 2009.  The presentation, comprised of a revenue and budget update, was accompanied by a memo from the director which estimated the 2010 budget shortfall at $1.959 billion.
