Wed. July 1, 2009, 6:00pm: Governor Brewer Vetoes Education Portion of Budget – Calls for Special Session
Governor Brewer announced a veto of the education portion of the budget and has called for a special session on July 6 beginning at 1:00pm. The Governor has called the special session to address fiscal year funding for education as well as a temporary tax increase to specifically raise revenue for primary and secondary education.
